OC businesses prep for potential impact from Hurricane Erin

OCEAN CITY, Md. – While folks at home may be bracing for Erin’s potential impact, so are businesses on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
Some owners told WMDT they’re used to the high winds and the sand that gets blown around, especially during hurricane season.
Owner of King’s, Danny King said he isn’t too worried about Erin, but he does take proper steps to ensure his restaurant front isn’t destroyed, just in case of the worst scenario.
“It can blow sand– when we pull these garage doors down, it blows sand up against the doors, then you have to come up with shovels, just to be able to get in the store,” said King.
