Bridge repainting begins in Milford later this month

MILFORD, Del. – Road work is coming to Milford later this month.

On August 22nd, crews from DelDOT will begin bridge repainting work on Coastal Highway between Cedar Beach Road and North East Front Street. The purpose of the project is to clean and paint the structural steel and concrete.

Drivers can expect some lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Lane closures are not expected for the full duration of the work, and will be in effect during key activities. Work is expected to be complete in late fall, weather permitting.
