Saved by the bell, Menocal Family Practice has a potential buyer

Salisbury, Md. — An update on the Menocal Family Practice, based in Salisbury: The practice may have a potential buyer. Owner and physician Julio Menocal said they should know by next week if the practice will be saved.

“We have received an inquiry from a businessman in the Salisbury area who is interested in taking over the operations of the support site in Salisbury. Of course, this takeover could take anywhere from four to six months, maybe even a little longer,” Menocal said.

Menocal also said the practice will not close in August if a buyer is found, but the transition could take some time.
