Local organizations warm the hearts of oncology patients at TidalHealth.

Gateway Subaru and the local chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society joined forces to deliver warm blankets and messages of encouragement to TidalHealth’s Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute.

On Friday, July 11, team members from Gateway Subaru in Delmar, Maryland, and the LLS Mid-Atlantic Region visited the TidalHealth Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute in Salisbury to present a donation of blankets for oncology patients in Salisbury, Seaford and Ocean Pines to keep them warm and lift their spirits during their infusion treatments.   This is the tenth year Gateway has donated to patients fighting cancer.  The initiative is part of Subaru Loves to Care, a national effort from Subaru of America focused on spreading warmth, love and hope where it’s needed the most.
