Cambridge Police investigating homicide

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Cambridge Police are currently investigating a homicide that happened Thursday morning.

According to police, at around 10:45 a.m., a call came in for a subject shot in the 800 block of Allen Street. On arrival, officers found 32-year-old Tavaar Chester of Cambridge unresponsive in his vehicle, suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Chester was taken to a nearby hospital where he died as a result of his injury.
