Fire crews battle house fire on Madison Street in Salisbury
SALISBURY, Md. – A home on Madison Street was heavily damaged after fire officials say a blaze broke out on July 4th.
Salisbury Fire Department responded to the home around noon, along with Fruitland and Hebron fire crews. According to fire officials, two engines worked to douse the flames while a tower truck was used to complete searches and vent the roof.
A drone was deployed from the command post to monitor conditions and track the working units, say fire officials. The Salisbury Fire Department is thanking Mardela, Parsonsburg, and Delmar fire crews for covering the city while they answered this call.
