Fire burns multiple trailers at Treasure Beach campground

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – A trailer fire at a campground west of Fenwick Island is under investigation.

Early in the morning on July 4th, the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company with the blaze at Treasure Beach campground. The fire broke out on Lighthouse Road. Fire officials say the flames spread from the original trailer to multiple others.

The Ocean City Fire Department also assisted on the scene.
