TidalHealth announces partnership to help patients choose providers through star ratings

DELMARVA – TidalHealth has announced a partnership with Ratings MD, a platform that helps healthcare providers deliver transparent patient reviews and star ratings.

Officials say this is designed to offer easy access to star ratings and valuable insights on the TidalHealth website. The ratings, completed by real patients, will be based on factors such as whether they’re likely to recommend the provider, did the provider spend enough time, did the provider listen carefully, did the provider offer easy to understand directions, did the provider know the patient’s medical history, and the overall rating the patient would give the provider.

“Ratings are a part of our daily lives. Physicians, patients, and providers want accurate, real-time information that will improve care and enhance the healthcare experience,” said Joseph Kim, MD, Executive Medical Director at TidalHealth and physician champion of the project.

“We are thrilled to partner with Ratings MD to provide our patients and the community with a clearer, easier, and more transparent way to evaluate healthcare providers,” said Dr. Trudy Hall, Chief Medical Officer at TidalHealth. “This initiative aligns with our commitment to transparency and delivering the highest quality care while empowering our patients with the information they need to make the best healthcare choices for themselves.”

Starting June 30th, patients will be able to visit the TidalHealth website to explore ratings and reviews from other patients to help them align with the right providers.
