Wednesday night shots fired incident under investigation in Pocomoke

POCOMOKE, Md. – Pocomoke City Police say there is no threat to the public following a shots fired investigation Wednesday night.

At around 10:15 p.m., officers were called to the area of Clark Avenue, with the assistance of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of shots fired. A traffic stop was conducted on Route 113 on a vehicle possibly related to the incident, at which time police reportedly recovered a handgun.

The incident remains under investigation.
