Andy Kitzrow becomes new man in charge as Town Manager of Easton

EASTON, Md. – The town of Easton is getting a new Town Manager. After an extensive search, the town announced via social media that Andy Kitzrow will take the role, after several years as City Administrator in Salisbury.

“I’m excited about joining the Easton Town Manager role. I had the opportunity to meet Mayor Cook and her team. I think this is a perfect fit for me,” said Kitzrow.

He will oversee town operations and serve as a point of contact for Mayor, Town Council, and residents of Easton. Kitzrow is excited about the new challenge ahead.

“Think Easton has some great ideas, they focus on their downtown core. Some of their economic development, working on improving the conditions of their streets and infrastructure.”

Kitzrow has a wealth of experience, with 19 years served in local government. This includes seven years of executive leadership roles. He began by serving as a recreation program director, and later became the superintendent for Wicomico County.

He eventually landed a role as Deputy City Administrator in 2017, before becoming the lead City Admin in 2023. Kitzrow was born in Salisbury and thinks this new opportunity will offer a fresh perspective.

“They have a great community, with a lot of passionate people. I’m looking forward to working with Council and Mayor, to deliver on some of those promises she made.”
