Shorebirds take Game 1 in doubleheader versus the Fayetteville Woodpeckers

SALISBURY, Md.- The Delmarva Shorebirds took game 1 of a doubleheader vs. the Fayetteville Woodpeckers 4-1, Thursday night at Perdue Stadium.

Bottom of the 3rd, Andrés Nolaya out on a sacrifice bunt for an RBI as Alfredo Velásquez scores.

The Woodpeckers score in the top of the 4th inning, tying the score at 1.

Bottom of the 5th, Fernando Peguero singles on a line drive to right field and gets an RBI as Edwin Amparo scores.

Raylin Ramos reaches on a fielder’s choice, with an RBI as Andrés Nolaya comes home.

Kevin Guerrero singles on a ground ball to left field and gets an RBI as Peguero scores.
