Dover woman arrested on drug charges following traffic stop

Police say that a Dover woman was arrested after running a stop sign on Thursday night.

According to Dover Police 28-year-old Natasha Palmer was arrested on drug charges after a traffic violation on Stevenson Drive at the Manchester Square Apartments Parking Lot.

At 8:20 p.m., on Thursday, Palmer reportedly ran a stop sign on Ann Avenue and Walker Road. When stopped by police, officers allegedly smelled marijuana in the car.

Police say officers later found 23 grams of marijuana and a digital scale inside of Palmer's purse. Palmer was later released after being charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and multiple traffic violations.
