Salisbury man arrested after reported burglary and trespassing

Officials say that a Salisbury man has been arrested for burglary, trespassing and malicious destruction of property.
According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, on Sunday evening, a deputy responded to a reported burglary on Rose Street in Salisbury.
When the deputy arrived, officials say, 35-year-old Briece Joynes was inside. The deputy reportedly found that Joynes kicked the front door repeatedly until the door frame broke.
The deputy learned from residents of the home that Joynes was not supposed to be inside, and that they had told Joynes that if he came back to the home, he would be charged with trespassing.
The deputy reportedly noticed that Joynes was intoxicated. Officials say that Joynes was then arrested and ordered to be held on $5,000 bond.
