Salisbury man sentenced for violation of probation in two separate cases

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man was sentenced on Friday for violating his probation in two separate cases.

On July 23, 2018, 21-year-old Darrell Mainor broke into a Salisbury home and assaulted two elderly female victims, aged 81 and 90. At the time of this incident, Mainor was on probation for a 2016 conviction for two counts of first degree burglary and a 2018 conviction for possession of a regulated firearm while under the age of 21 and possession of cocaine.

He has been sentenced to a total of 28 years in the Division of Corrections. This sentence will run consecutive to the 40 year sentence imposed on July 17 of this year for the July 2018 home invasion and assault incident.
