One arrested for assault in Cambridge

On Tuesday, Cambridge Police say they responded to the 100 block of Mako Drive in reference to an assault.

Upon arrival, officers reportedly met with the victim who said that they became involved in a verbal argument with Phylliss Gibson, 50, of Cambridge.

According to the report, the victim said that Gibson then grabbed a handgun and pointed it at them.

Witnesses reportedly confirmed the victim’s statement, and the handgun was recovered. Officials say Gibson was placed under arrest and charged with first and second degree assault.
