Maryland schools to receive additional state funding

Governor Hogan says that his administration has agreed with leaders in the Maryland General Assembly to provide additional state funding to Baltimore City Schools.

The agreement comes with requirements for the school system, but the funding includes more than 28 million for K-12 Public schools.

Schools on the Eastern Shore also received some of the money including 22,000 for Queen Anne's County, 455,000 for Somerset County, and 133,000 for Talbot County.

Baltimore City received more than 23 million dollars in funding from the state.
