Schellville entry to shift to first-come, first-serve basis for 2024 season

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Schellville officials have announced that entry to this year’s event will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Previously, entry to the free event was only available through ticket reservations in advance. We’re told that over the past two years, many people reserved the tickets but reportedly didn’t show up, leading many to believe that the event was full when it wasn’t.

Officials say the event has only reached full capacity a total of three nights over the past two years, leading them to shift to first-come, first-served entry. There will be counters to monitor crowds and allow people to enter as space allows.
