Local AME Church holding a conference to discuss Project 2025

What is Project 2025?

MILFORD, Del. – The Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church is hosting a Project 2025 Roundtable Discussion at its Dover District Conference to educate the community.

The 2025 Presidential Transition Project is being organized by The Heritage Foundation and is a 922-page playbook of controversial policy proposals intended to guide the next conservative administration according to ABC News. Delaware State Representative Sherry Dorsey Walker will be in attendance to help explain exactly what the project is.

Presiding Elder Ellis Louden says the presentation, entitled “What on Earth is Project 2025”, is important because they believe this election is crucial.

“We believe it will negatively impact black and brown communities. Of course, the African Methodist Episcopal Church has been a part of a movement since its inception to enhance the life of Black folks.”

The Presentation will take place Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Bethel AME Church, 205 NW 4th St, Milford. They are encouraging the community to come out and get educated.
