Drug investigation leads to numerous charges for Dover man
LINCOLN, Del. – A Dover man is behind bars following the execution of a search warrant last week in Lincoln.
Last week, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a house in the 8000 block of Greentop Road following an investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics from the property. Detectives reportedly detained 12 people at the property, including 44-year-old Antonio Young, who was a target of this investigation.
A search of the property and vehicles led police to find approximately 0.756 grams of heroin, approximately 15.72 grams of crack cocaine, 12-gauge shotgun ammunition, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, and over $450 in suspected drug money.
Police say 4 of the 12 individuals were arrested on misdemeanor offenses and capias warrants, while the others were released without incident.
Young was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity, possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited, three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 1 and tier 2 quantity, second degree conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a $45,000 cash bond.
