The 77th National Hard Crab Derby is back for Labor Day weekend

CRISFIELD, Md – The 77th annual National Hard Crab Derby includes crab races, cooking, and live entertainment.

Known as the crab capital of the world, downtown Crisfield will play host to all the festivities on Main Street.

Chamber of Commerce official Heather Ross said this event embodies the spirit of Crisfield. “It’s tradition, it’s like a homecoming weekend so I’ll a lot of people who are originally from Crisfield, they come back, and you know this is a time to celebrate with families and friends, we have concerts, a lot of fun things to do.”
