Easton man arrested for stealing items from cars

Police say an Easton man charged with theft scheme among other charges after allegedly stealing from cars in January.

According to Easton Police, on Thursday, the Dorchester County Sheriff's office, served an arrest warrant and criminal summons on 18-year-old James Nabb of Easton. The criminal summons charges him with five counts of rogue and vagabond, five counts of theft: Less $1000 and theft Scheme: less $1000.      

Police say that in the month of January, Easton Police detectives began an investigation into possible stolen items that were recovered. Throughout the investigation, detectives were able to connect items that were stolen from cars in Easton to Nabb.      

On February 9, detectives executed a search and seizure warrant on Nabb's car where they found more items that were stolen from vehicles in St. Michaels. Police say there was also an item recovered from Nabb's vehicle that connected him to a burglary in Dorchester County.
