Kamala Harris names Tim Walz as VP running mate

WASHINGTON D.C. – Vice President Kamala Harris officially named Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her Vice Presidential running mate in the 2024 Election.

The announcement was made Tuesday morning, saying that Harris and Walz will “crisscross” the country to present a split-screen on who is “running to move the country forward” and “who is running to move the country backward”.

The pair are set to visit seven battleground states this week, starting with a rally Tuesday evening in Philadelphia.

The campaign highlighted Walz’s background as a gun owner who “believes that Congress must do more to tackle gun violence in our communities.”
