Death investigation underway in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Police are handling a death investigation Saturday.

Officials say that units were dispatched at 2:41am Saturday morning after a 9-1-1 call was made.

At the scene police discovered the body of a 21-year-old male in the Wicomico River, in the area of Mill Street and Riverside Drive.

According to a social media post from the Department, the Criminal Investigation Division is leading the investigation.
