Millville hosts annual hot dog eating contest

Millville, DE – There was a hotdog eating contest today in Millville, this holiday tradition was for the battle of the Millville Boardwalk hot dog championship belts.

The event was free to the public and featured giveaways, free hot dogs, cornhole, and plenty of other entertainment.

Millville boardwalk event organizer Roger Marin said that while they might not be able to replicate the fireworks that you’ll see in some other towns, this was a great way to start your holiday.

“It’s at high noon every year, come down at the boardwalk, have a great time with all these people watching the contest, then go on with the rest of your day, go to the beach, go to dinner, have a barbecue, it’s a great way to start your holiday,” said Marin.
