Accidental fire heavily damages Salisbury home

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury home was heavily damaged in a fire Wednesday afternoon.

The blaze was reported just after 2:30 p.m., at 4619 Coulbourne Mill Road. Firefighters were able to control the blaze in approximately 45 minutes.

Fire marshals say the fire started on the side deck and was caused by discarded smoking materials. Total damage has been estimated at $275,000. The occupant is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
