Sussex Academy captures Henlopen Championship

GEORGETOWN, Del. – The Sussex Academy Seahawks take down Polytech 3-0 to win the 2024 Henlopen Conference Championship.

The Seahawks went up 2-0 in the first half thanks to goals by Maya Hastings and Catherine Brown. Brown also added a goal in the second half to put the game away. Sussex Academy lost the 2023 Henlopen Championship Game to Polytech 2-1 and would get revenge by shutting out the Panthers.
