Central hands Lake Forest first loss of the season

GEORGETOWN, Del.– Sussex Central defeated Lake Forest in a final score of 6-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

Central would be the ones to strike first as they would take an early 1-0 lead on the Spartans. Madge Layfield would make it a 3-0 game with a 2 run home-run. Lake would answer back in the next inning with a solo homer from Bayli Glanden to make it 3-1.

The Spartans would make it a 1 run game off an RBI single from Chloe Revelle. The Golden Knights would break the game open in the later innings to make it 6-2.
