12th Annual Ocean City Air Show wraps up

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Thousands of people had their eyes to the sky this weekend for the 12th annual Ocean City Air Show.

The annual event showcases all kinds of military performers.

This year, people got the chance to watch the US Navy Blue Angels, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and more carry out all kinds of maneuvers and stunts from the comfort of the beach.

The flight demonstrations could be seen all across the resort town this weekend and many of the people watching said this year’s acts were truly something extraordinary.

“It’s just amazing what they can do, and they’re falling through the sky and it’s controlled, which is like extraordinary pretty awesome to see,” said Maja Kajtazovic, a North Carolina resident.

“It’s really fun and it’s really windy, so I can only imagine how bad it is up there,” said Kajtazovic.

This was the first time that the Canadian Forces Snowbirds performed at the Ocean City Air Show. They are the only nine plane jet demonstration team in North America.
