Roadwork beginning in Worcester Co. this week

WORCESTER CO., Md. – MDOT will begin two resurfacing projects in Worcester County this week.

Crews are set to begin resurfacing nearly one mile of Baltimore Avenue between North Division Street and 15th Street in Ocean City on Monday. Crews will work Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., and motorists can expect single-lane closures during the construction.

Additionally, approximately four miles of Stockton Road will see improvements between Route 13 and Kleg Grange Road near Snow Hill beginning on March 18th. The work, including milling and paving, should be completed by May 1st, weather permitting. Drivers should expect single-lane closures Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.
