Decatur dominates Linganore to advance to state semi finals

BERLIN, Md.– Decatur defeated Linganore in a final score of 63-43 on Friday night.

The game was tight for the 1st quarter as Decatur would find themselves down 12-10. It would be a different story in the 2nd quarter, the Seahawks would go on a 16-0 run to open the 2nd. They would go into the locker room with a 31-23 lead.

Decatur would continue their dominance in the 2nd half as they would go up 55-35 going into the 4th quarter. Linganore wouldn’t have much of a presence in the 4th as they only put up 8 points. Decatur advances to the state semi finals for the first time since 2018.
