Dover Police investigating two weekend shooting incidents
DOVER, Del. – Police are investigating after two separate shooting incidents were reported over the weekend in the 400 block of Barrister Place in Dover.
Police say the first incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, during which an unknown suspect(s) fired multiple shots in the area. A resident discovered that a bullet had struck a window and entered the first floor of the home.
The second incident happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday, when a 27-year-old male victim heard several gunshots coming from the area of Barrister Place and S. Little Creek Road. The victim was able to run away but was struck in the leg by a bullet. The victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries as a result. Police say two vehicles were also struck by gunfire in the area during this incident.
