Somerset Co. Emergency Services preparing for Tuesday’s storm
SOMERSET CO., Md. – The Somerset County Department of Emergency Services is making preparations for Tuesday’s storm.
Residents of low-lying areas (Flood Zones A & B) should expect moderate to major flooding to take place during the next two high tide cycles, Tuesday at 11 p.m. and Wednesday at 11:37 a.m. Residents are urged to move their vehicles to higher ground and avoid driving or walking through water of unknown depth.
A shelter will open at Washington High School in Princess Anne at 5 p.m. Tuesday for anyone in need or wishing to leave their home.
