Dover Police investigating shots fired incident

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shots fired incident that happened early Friday morning.

Police say that shortly after 3 a.m., they responded to the 400 block of Barrister Place for a report of shots fired. Initially, officers were unable to find any signs of a shooting in the area, but about 30 minutes later, the homeowner called police and reported that his residence had been struck by several shots.

No one was injured as a result of the incident. Officers did recover several shell casings outside of the home.
