Somerset Co. cancels school, Worcester Co. announces delay following flooding

SOMERSET COUNTY, Md. – Somerset County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, December 19th for students, teachers, and 12 month staff. School district officials blame continued flooding and the affects of high tide on roadway conditions.

Meanwhile, Worcester County Public Schools will open one hour late on Tuesday, December 19th, due to flooding conditions. Buses will operate accordingly.
