UPDATE: Victim identified in Frankford crash

FRANKFORD, Del. –

UPDATE: Delaware State Police have identified the victim as 22-year-old Gabrial Dorman of Millsboro.

Delaware State Police are conducting an investigation for an incident that occurred early Thursday morning that left one dead and one critically injured.

According to the Delaware State Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:10 a.m., Thursday as troopers were called to respond to a residence on the 30200 block of Frankford School Road in Frankford for a report of shots fired.

Troopers arrived and found two men lying in the roadway near a Mercedes-Benz SUV and a Honda four-wheeler, both of the men were suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Police learned that the SUV and the four-wheeler collided on Frankfort School Road, and the two injured men were thrown off the four-wheeler after the two vehicles crashed.

The occupants of the SUV, a 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, both from Frankford, were not injured.

One of the victims, a 22-year-old Millsboro man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld until his family and relatives are notified.

The second victim, a 20-year-old Millsboro man, was taken to an area trauma hospital for critical injuries.
