YMCA Turkey Trot just one day away
DELMARVA – The YMCA Turkey Trot Charity 5K is just one day away. Runners will hit the courses across Delmarva.
YMCA officials encourage the community to lace up their shoes for a good cause. Officials say it’s perfect for everyone, no matter their age. Even your furry friends can get in on the fun. It’s happening on Thanksgiving Day, across all of the Chesapeake locations.
Kerry Daly with the YMCA says the money raised will support a plethora of initiatives. “Everything from membership, scholarships, to camp scholarships, outreach like Enhanced Fitness, Rock Steady, Live Strong, these programs are around preventative maintenance,” said Daly.
