Police investigating Milford armed robbery

Police say they are seeking the public's help with a Milford armed robbery investigation.

According to Milford Police, on Sunday around 10:49 PM, officers responded to Memorial Park for a report of an armed robbery.

An investigation revealed that the victim was approached by a man who demanded the victim give him all of his money. The suspect reportedly showed the victim what looked to be his handgun in his waistband, and the victim gave his wallet to the suspect.

Police say the suspect then struck the victim once before leaving towards Franklin Street.

Police say the victim declined any medical treatment after this incident. The suspect is described as a man who is six feet tall, has gray facial hair and was wearing a dark brown jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
