Help is here DE website upgraded

DELAWARE – Help is Here DE upgraded its website to battle the substance abuse crisis.

Health officials say last year 537 people in Delaware suffered fatal overdoses. The website set to help those with substance use disorder or mental illness. It’s available in English and Spanish. Organizers say they say they want to reduce the stigma surrounding addiction and get people the help they need.

They’re also trying to provide more resources in a simpler way. “It makes it easier for individuals in crisis and family members to find the resources and the services they need. The navigation is much easier to get through,” said Jill Fredel, Board Member of atTacK Addiction.

The new website also tends to people via their best communication styles with in-person, online, or phone call options. To check out the website click here.
