Phish Festival coming to Dover in 2024

DOVER, Del. – A new festival is headed to Dover in 2024, promising an event to rival the scale of the Firefly festival that announced a hiatus for the 2023 festival season.
The Vermont-based rock band Phish is set to perform over the 3-day span from August 15th to 18th at The Woodlands venue, where at peak 90,000 people were in attendance for the Firefly festival.
Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce President Dina Vendetti tells 47ABC that of the hundreds of businesses that the chamber represents, nearly all see some level of boost from the influx of out-of-town visitors, but the benefits of exposing people to the area can outlive just one festival or event.
“Hopefully they discover things they would like to come back to and that would be great to have a good experience with the people in hotels, the campgrounds, or the Dover Speedway, or The Woodlands and say this is a place worth checking out I’d like to come back,” Vendetti said.
