Fatal crash in Salisbury claims the life of one, injures two others
SALISBURY, Md. – A Friday afternoon vehicle crash claimed the life of one and injured two others in Salisbury.
According to Maryland State Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Mt. Hermon Road and Walston Switch Road shortly after 3:30 p.m. Investigation revealed that a 1994 Plymouth Voyager that was traveling northbound on Walston Switch Road failed to yield right of way to a 2004 GMC 2500 pickup truck after stopping at the stop sign. As a result, the truck struck the Plymouth in the front passenger side door.
The driver of the Plymouth, 42-year-old Shane Booth, and both passengers, 30-year-old Audrianna Booth and 51-year-old Kevin Jaquith, were taken to PRMC for treatment.
Audrianna Booth, who was riding in the front seat at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at PRMC.
The GMC pickup was being driven by 45-year-old Clinton Timmons of Newark.
Maryland State Police say charges are pending following completion of the investigation.
