Seahawks hold off hungry, hostile WiHi

The Stephen Decatur Seahawks played their toughest conference game to date, holding off WiHi 57-52 on Saturday afternoon in Salisbury.
Decatur was led by senior guard Gary Briddell, who finished with a game-high 22 points. Big man Keve Aluma finished with 17 points for the Seahawks, although visibly frustrated with the physicality of the numerous big men WiHi threw at him in the game.
The game would get very chippy in the second half, with WiHi recieving two technical fouls which resulted in three Decatur points. The Indians would cut their defecit to six inside of two minutes remaining, only to watch Decatur put the game away with a late run of their own.
