Benefit Bash in the Park set to raise money for tornado relief
BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – More relief efforts are underway following the EF– 3 tornado that tore through Bridgeville back on April 1st.
The town has partnered with a plethora of community organizations and plans to host a series of fundraisers to help those effected. The dedicated disaster relief funds will go directly to the needs and expenses of the families.
The Bridgeville town manager says the upcoming fundraiser will be fun for everyone. “We’re calling it the Benefit Bash in the park and it’s basically a concert event, but it’s also a family fun event. Theres some raffles, food vendors, so it’s really just meant to be a large community event, that hopes to support this fund,” Bethany DeBussy said.
At the event there will also be bouncy houses, along with some special guests including Sticky Situation on April 23rd. Donations can also be made to the lions club.
