BREAKING: Officials on scene of fire at Mallard Landing

SALISBURY, Md. – Fire officials are currently on scene of a structure fire at the Mallard Landing Assisted Living facility on South Schumaker Drive in Salisbury.

We’re told the fire is under control as of 9:20 AM, and was a result of a heating unit issue.

There were no reported injuries, and we’re told those who evacuated took shelter in adjacent buildings and ambulances to stay warm.
