Construction still underway for Ross Building, welcoming residents this fall
SALISBURY, Md.- Limited hard hat tours are now being offered for the Ross Building in downtown Salisbury. Our crew was able to snag one and check out the progress being made.
The 14-story high-rise apartment building is the tallest building in the city.
Construction began back in 2020 and was originally scheduled to be completed in 2021.
The Ross expects to welcome its first tenants home later this year, offering a variety of fully furnished two- and four-bedroom floor plans. The currently listing price is $829 per room, which are found within suites.
We’re told this affordable housing option isn’t just geared towards students. “We’re open to anyone that meets our criteria and who’s willing to apply. Whether you’re a commuter or a young professional, we invite everybody to contact our leasing office for information,” Mentis Capital Group Marketing Coordinator Allie Lane said.
Amenities include bathrooms in each room, granite counter tops, a 24-hour accessible gym, high-speed internet access, and more.
As hundreds of tenants will soon call downtown home, there’s growing concerns for parking.
Mentis Capital Group tells us they’ve got parking covered for their tenants. “Parking is not going to be a concern. We actually leased 354 spaces in the parking garage that’s adjacent to the building. So there will be a walking bridge that leads from the parking garage over to building 1 and then another bridge from building 1 to building 2,” Lane said.
“I think it’s just been really wonderful to watch the skyline of Salisbury change.”
The Ross is currently leasing for Fall 2023.
Construction is expected to be complete by July.
