QA girls topple undefeated Easton

CENTREVILLE, Md. – Queen Anne’s took down the 14-0 Easton Warriors 51-44 to secure a tie for the Bayside North lead.

The Lions started the game on a 12-0 run and never trailed in the ballgame. The Warriors battled back in the second quarter to make it just a six-point game headed into halftime.

The team’s battled back and forth and the Lions’ lead was cut to as many as two, but the Warriors couldn’t find the go-ahead or equalizing bucket. Brooke Gordan knocked down a three-pointer and was fouled on the play in the fourth quarter to push the Lions further up and QA never looked back.
