Gulls defense implodes in home loss to York
The York men’s basketball team tied a season-high in points and shot 47% from the field in their 90-75 road win over Salisbury.
The Gulls led 43-41 at the half, but were outscored 49-32 in the second half. Mike Ward led Salisbury off the bench with a team-high 16 points. Johnny Fierstein (14 points) and Blair Davis (13 points) were the only other Gulls in double-figures.
The Spartans finished with 4 players with 14 points or more, led by a game-high 35 points from guard Jason Bady.
Salisbury returns to action on Saturday, hosting Frostburg State.
