Cold second half doom’s Wi-Hi’s upset attempt against Sidwell Friends

The Wi-Hi Indians fell 41-33 to Sidwell Friends of DC in the final showcase game of the 2016 Governor's Challenge.

After leading 20-19 at the half, the Indians shot 23% (4-17) in the second half, and scored a total of 13 points in the final two quarters to fall.

Jason Gibson finished with a game-high 19 points and added 4 steals for Sidwell in the win. For WiHi, John Taylor finished with a team-high 12 points. Sidwell showed a distinctive advantage on points off fastbreak (18-4) and outscored the Indians by 12 pints in the paint.
