Tractor trailer-pedestrian collision leaves man in critical condition

Salisbury, MD- A tractor trailer hit a man in Salisbury around 6:30 pm on Tuesday.

The vehicle was travelling on Salisbury Parkway when it struck a 65 year old man who was crossing the road.

The man was not crossing at a designated crosswalk.

The man is was taken to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition but is expected to live.

According to Salisbury Police the driver was not under the influence of alcohol and is not at fault for the collision.
