Crabbers Edge Out the Warriors in a Close One

The Crisfield boys basketball team improved to 4-2 tonight as they defeated the Pocomoke Warriors 70-67. The loss drops the Warriors overall record to 3-2.
The Crisfield Crabbers hosted the defending Bayside champion Pocomoke Warriors tonight. It was like any Bayside matchup with a packed crowd and heated competition. The Warriors had the lead at half with a score of 32-26 but The Crabbers were looking to change that. Crisfield's Jordan Sterling led the charge, scoring 18 second half points along with 10 points from Senior Jordan Sterling giving them a 3 point lead with 15 seconds left. After a missed lay up by Crisfield the Warriors had one last shot to tie it up but came up just short. The Crabbers defeated the Warriors 70-67.
The Crabbers look to continue their win streak as they take on the Kent County Trojans at home on Wednesday the 21st. The Warriors will look to stop their losing skid as they travel to Washington to take on the Jaguars.
