UPDATE: Del. sports complex signs first tournament

living up to its expectation of bringing an economic boost to the first state. the complex itself — is still under construction. however — the frederica center has signed its first tournament. college connection’s shooting star field hockey tournament showcase will take to the fields easter weekend 20-17. last year — a similar event in virginia brought in more than one-hundred and fifty teams — more than one-hundred and seventy-five college coaches. d-e turf says — visiting teams are already engaging with local hotels. 03:53 the wheels are already turning and it’s just going to get bigger and bigger. we have had studies done for this complex that have shown it expects 18 million dollars annually in economic impact 03 so far — six fields have been completed. the remaining six are on track to be completed by this winter. coming up after the break – the wildcard games continue
